Magic at the end of the Islay Whisky Trail

Fairy Hill cottage is inspired by ancient folklore. Nestled at the bottom of the Fairy Hill where legend says the Queen of the Fairyes dwells. A traditional and unique self-catering Victorian cottage, on the south-east coast of Islay and in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, its location offers the best of Islay.

The area is steeped in history with Celtic crosses, old clan strongholds, Neolithic sites and folklore. With an abundance of wildlife, secluded beaches, woodland, mountain views, ancient ruins, and near the distilleries of Ardbeg, Lagavulin and Laphroaig, there is something for everyone.

The cottage has charming decor inspired by the landscape, and offers a Celtic harp along with instruction to teach yourself to play.
